Durham-based all-rounder Simon Ashton has sent us this beautiful photograph of a double-figure pike from a Lincolnshire trout water.

The fish was taken towards the end of the day on a tiny joey mackerel, just as the sun was dipping below the horizon.

The successful rig consisted of a large Pike Bob with a 1oz inline lead, a small bead and a 20in trace made up of 7 Strand Pike Wire and size 6 E-Sox Extra Strong Semi Barbed Trebles.
