After making the drive from Manchester to Newark, Tony cast a feeder filled with an unusual mix of white crumb, hemp, micro pellets, peanut butter, tuna and molasses to tempt the fish.

Speaking about his catch, Tony said: “Catching the 16lb fish was a dream come true, and it eclipses my previous personal best of 9lb.”
