East Sussex based all-rounder Tony King has recently been on the banks of the River Avon in hope of fooling a big chub or two!
Tony managed to land 3 perch and couple of chub, with the best chub pictured above at 6lb 6oz.
His tactics were to keep a steady flow of maggots going into the swim throughout the day using a Medium Vari-Weight Feeder. He used 6lb Supplex mainline and a 3lb hooklink, to which he tied a size 18 Super Specialist hook.
