Today is the Semi Final of the Drennan Knockout Cup!

This prestigious series run by Match Fishing magazine has seen over 150 anglers taking part, but we are now down to just 15 qualifiers. Each has made it through the tough knockout stages, testing their all-round skills on lakes, canals and rivers.

Today’s Semi Final is on the Canal Lake at Weston Pools in Shropshire with some top anglers lining up, including five times World Champion Alan Scotthorne, reigning Knockout Cup Champion Tom Scholey, Fish’O’Mania Champion Warren Martin and rising Drennan Team England star James Dent. From here, just four anglers will progress to the two-day Grand Final at Docklow Pools. It promises to be an excellent match!
