This year’s Frank Barlow Memorial match is being held on the River Trent on the 28th of September.
This year is the 20th memorial match and will once again be held on the River Trent at Burton on Trent. The river is in excellent form with plenty of fish being caught on waggler, stick float and pole tactics. Last year’s event saw Andy Taft lift the trophy with a fine 20lb catch of mostly roach and the organisers expect plenty of double-figure catches this year as well.
There will be 70 pegs available with fishing from 12pm to 5pm. The draw starts at 9.30am at the Washlands Sports Club, Burton on Trent (postcode DE14 1TD).
Tickets are £30 with pegs fees and monies raised from the raffle going to the Nottingham City Hospital Cancer Ward where Frank was treated. To book on, call Matchman Supplies on 0115 981 3834.
