Specimen angling “Living-Legend” and 7-times Drennan Cup Winner Terry Lampard with a fabulous Chew Valley Reservoir Pike caught this Tuesday!
Terry enjoyed a bank day with friend Wayne Little at the Bristol Water Pike fishing mecca, and although the fishing was generally slow – just three runs all day, the final take at dusk resulted in this gorgeous 25lb 2oz fish for Terry.
Terry’s successful tactics were to present a Mackerel on 50lb Braided mainline, 28lb E-Sox Super 7 trace wire and size 4 E-Sox Extra Strong semi-barbed trebles. This was launched out into the famous depths using an ESP Sniper 12ft 3lb rod.
“Always a good day when I catch a Twenty” remarked Terry!
