Congratulations to Richard Taylor for winning the Dave Pankhurst Memorial Trophy with a fine bag of roach.

The annual event was held on the River Medway at Barming and Teston and saw 52 anglers paying their respects. Medway Tackle’s Richard started on the feeder for 40 minutes with no success before shipping out 13 metres of pole and a 2g G-Tip 2 pole float.

From this point on he never looked back and went on to catch a net of quality roach to 10oz on caster over a bed of VDE Supercrack groundbait. The result was a fantastic match-winning bag of redfins that went 17lb 4oz on the scales.
