After weeks of trying to catch a pike from a difficult Scottish trout water, Steven Paterson’s efforts were rewarded when he landed this fish of 30lb 8oz.
He’s been fishing the venue twice a week since it opened to predator anglers in October, with this fish believed to be the first ‘thirty’ it’s produced, Steven’s choice of a popped-up joey was obviously too much for the pike to resist.
