A six section 8.5m (680g average weight) fully take-apart pole for margin fishing (as the name suggests) or close range open water work. It also makes an excellent ‘starter’ pole.

 The top 2 kit (2 are supplied, 1 in the pole itself and a spare) is 2.5m long (just over 8′) so plenty long enough for the depth of most commercials and also allowing plenty of elastic to be used through the whole kit if it is required.

 It is pre-bushed with a large Bungee bush which will allow it to be used straight from the bag with elastics up to Yellow Bungee (or similar solids) and the uncut tip will also accomodate the 2.6mm Super Slick internal if that type is preferred. When using elastics above this then the tip should be cut back further and a larger bush fitted. Even when using elastics such as Red Bungee (or similar solids) this does not need to be too much.

 The action of the pole is deliberately designed so it bends when under pressure and each section gradually blends with the next when playing carp . This playing action, coupled with the elastic, really absorbs the lunges of the fish and helps to subdue them quickly and also helps reduce hook pulls or line breakages.
