The fourth round of the Oxford Summer League was fished by 7 teams of 6 on the Thames at Sandford and Culham.
With a little bit of flow and overcast conditions, the roach were on the feed, with double figures of roach caught in every section.
1st: Steve Harwood (Drennan Oxford Yellow) 33lb 8oz – Steve drew three above swift ditch at Culham and caught roach on the pole at 10m fishing maggot over groundbait.
2nd: Martin Wickens (Drennan Oxford Blue) 25lb 4oz – Martin drew one peg into the wood at Culham and had three early bream on the open end feeder and worm and then caught roach on the pole line with maggot.
3rd: Tommy Boyce (Drennan Oxford Blue) 25lb – Tommy drew 1 above swift ditch and had all of his roach on a 5m whip and maggot over groundbait feed.
4th: Dave Self (Drennan Bordon) 24lb 6oz – Dave drew in the rushes at Culham and had two bream and then caught roach on the pole and caster.
5th: Dave Johnson (Sensas A4) 20lb 4oz
