Tony Peet has been having some great roach sport on his local River Ribble using his Drennan Acolyte Ultra rod.

After some impressive chub sport last March, where he was catching quality fish to 5lb, he has now back on the Ribble to target the river’s fine head of roach.

“I am still out with the Acolyte ‘dream stick’,” he informed us. Using 2.6lb Drennan Float Fish line on an old Abu 506 reel and feeding caster and hemp lead to this lovely net of silvers.
