An exciting new twist to the Match Fishing Drennan Knockout Cup event could see YOU taking part in one of the most exciting angling tournaments!

This prestigious event is normally contested by more than 100 of the best anglers in the country on a strictly invitational basis. As a way of getting more people involved, however, Match Fishing magazine has today announced the introduction of an exciting 80-peg qualifier match at Barston Lakes on Wednesday, April 15th, 2015.

Forty very lucky qualifiers will earn themselves a place in Round One of this knockout tournament, which this year is at Heronbrook Fishery in Staffordshire. Subsequent heats include the Grand Union Canal at Stoke Hammond, the River Trent at Radcliffe and Lake John in Essex, culminating in a four-man Grand Final at the ever-impressive Docklow Pools complex in Herefordshire.
