Plenty of double-figure catches of roach were caught on the fourth round of the Oxford Summer League fished on the River Thames at Medley and Sandford.
First place went to Dan McDonald with 20lb 10oz from the green bank at Medley. The Devizes Match Group angler had a bonus bream on pole and worm plus a net of quality roach on hemp and tares at 13 metres.
Gary Pook (Drennan Oxford Blue) was second overall with 18lb 13oz at Sandford. This included four good perch plus lots of small roach on a 5m whip and maggot over groundbait.
Third was John Williams (Matrix Talismen) with 16lb 9oz of roach on the pole and caster and Gary Barclay (Drennan Oxford Blue) was fourth with 15lb 11oz.
Drennan Oxford Yellow were the top team on the day with 39 points. They now head the league on 151 points with Drennan Oxford Blue on 137 points and Sensas A4 on 127 points.
