The second Oxford & District open match of the season was held at Medley and topped by Arnold Liaukevicius with an impressive 25lb 3oz winning catch.

The Drennan Oxford squad member drew above Black Jacks and had eight small skimmers on the open end feeder and worm and then caught quality roach on the pole with casters and tares over lots of hemp feed.

Second went to his team mate Gary Barclay with 20lb 12oz from the top end of the Poplars section. After a fruitless 40 minutes on the feeder in search of bream he switched to the pole with worm and double maggot over chopped worm to end with a mixture of roach, perch and skimmers.

Third went to Thames veteran Dave Kirk with a 19lb 4oz mixed bag taken on the pole and caster.
