What a gorgeous sunny Carp! 2010-11 Drennan Cup Winner Neill Stephen from London (who also finished runner up in 2011-12!) caught this gorgeous fully scaled Mirror recently on Zig-Rig Tactics, from an Oxfordshire Stillwater.

Neill tricked the fish by getting it to take a piece of buoyant black foam presented on a size 12 Drennan Super Specialist Barbel hook tied to 10lb Double Strength mono.   These hooks are brilliant for zig rigs and floater fishing, due to their compact shape, sharpness and strength – right down to a size 14.
