Neale Woodward 16lb 4oz Bream

This spring there has been a large number of specimen bream reported, with it believed that the cool temperatures had big fish willing to feed just for a bit longer before spawning.

Whilst the weather has finally improved, catches show no signs of slowing, after Neale Woodward banked this fish of 16lb 4oz. In addition, he had another of 16lb dead, plus one of 15lb 10oz, five fourteen-pounders, and a handful of other good doubles.
The fish were caught from a southern lake over the course of a 32-hour session, with heli-rigs and maggot hookbaits fished over groundbait producing the good.Well done Neale!
