Wednesday saw a really tight finish to the open match on Swan Pond. The carp fed really well and several anglers put together 100lb plus weights.
Don Hudson found just enough fish to hold off Ken Pacey who was on the Golden peg and his 151lb 15oz was 14oz too much for Ken to claim the extra prize money, much to Don`s delight.
The weights have been consistently good across all of the lakes recently and Tyler Wilson even claimed a new 3-hour match record from Hollywood Lake in the RAOB club match during the week with 167lb 9oz.
Both carp and catfish continue to feed well on the North and South Lake. Connor Turner managed to land three catfish on his latest visit using luncheon meat up to 34lbs in a night session on the South day Ticket Lake as well as a number of carp.
John Walker has also enjoyed some great sport on the Syndicate from Lennys Lake, banking over 40 fish in his last three sessions, including catfish up to 39lb and plenty of carp.
