Perch expert Matt Atkins has banked yet another monstrous stripy, this time a 5lb 4oz fish from a gravel pit..
It’s his second over 5lb this year, with his first coming from the Thames. Matt used a new approach, using a float-fished dead perch on a paternoster that he twitched every 10 minutes. Matt also backed his capture of with a further 2 fish, 1 of which scraped 4lb!
