Despite the weather, with the aid of his trusty fishing truck Martin managed to get himself safely from home in Wiltshire to the banks of the River Kennet.  This delightful chalk stream is home to good numbers of native brown trout, and also receives regular ‘stockies’ courtesy of various clubs & syndicates – in turn creating wonderful potential for monster Pike…

Martin was using and evaluating a pre-production sample of some new E-Sox braided mainline, which was of course given a fine workout by this gorgeous predator!
