River pike fishing is all about mobility and I will rarely stay in a swim for more than 20-minutes.

With this in mind, I travel light with a small bag, a net, a few deadbaits and only one rod, the 10ft E-Sox Piker. More often than not, I will float leger a sardine and for this, a Zeppler float is hard to beat. The trace as always is constructed from 28lb Green Pike Wire and size 6 E-Sox Extra Strong Pike Trebles.
