Liam Williams certainly had a session to remember on a recent visit to the River Trent when he bagged himself this 20lb specimen, and what a photo to match!
He’d been carp fishing earlier that morning on a nearby stillwater however plans changed so opted to visit the Trent instead in search of barbel. On route he popped into the tackle shop and picked up some maggots and was soon at the river casting out.
Opting for maggots on one rod and a Sticky Baits Krill boilie on the other, it wasn’t long before the bream homed in on his maggot rod and he become over ran with them but thankfully didn’t let this distract him as shortly after, his boilie rod was away which resulted in this new personal best.
Well done Liam!
