“Having seen pictures of fish from the stretch he knew it’s potential”
Having kept an eye on the Tidal Trent whilst stuck on a four-year waiting list for a club book, Leicester angler Lee McManus made the most of it when he finally got on, landing this 18lb 2oz zander.
Having seen pictures of fish from the stretch he knew it’s potential, and it didn’t take him long to get amongst the larger residents. A small roach deadbait in a deep channel a rod-length out fooled the zander. It was his first one from the stretch weighing over 4lb. It beats his longstanding 15lb 2oz PB that he managed from the Middle Level Drain back in 2000.
Well done Lee!
