There has been a pile of big bream reported over recent weeks, and species expert Lee McManus certainly didn’t want to miss out on the action, landing this 18lb 10oz personal best.
He had the fish from a 90-acre midlands pit on an artificial corn and caster hookbait, fished on a size 8 wide gape hook. In addition to the pb, he also landed a further 6 other ‘doubles’ to 14lb 4oz, in what was certainly a memorable session!
