Gold Valley lakes regular Anthony Flint from team Drennan Bordon has set the new lake record on the middle lake.
Corner peg 85 on the middle lake at Gold Valley
Anthony Flint reports back from his latest outing at Gold Valley on Sunday’s open match on middle lake. With 19 fishing it was set to be a good match with a strong field of anglers competing…
“I have drawn peg 85 out of the draw bag which is a flyer! I Started off with Blake’s groundbait and Blake’s 4mm expanders on the hook using a B911 size 16 to 0.12 Supplex Flourocarbon for 10 F1’s, this was whilst priming my 12 metre shallow line”
A mixture of Carp and F1’s for Anthony
“After 20 minutes I then switched to my shallow line and I never really looked back. I have caught by feeding 4mm Blake’s bait feed pellets with a 4mm on an over shotted Jigger float. At the weigh in I have put 188lb on the scales for a match win and a new lake record. I’m over the moon to retain my record back after just one match as i haven’t been here for 3 months, what a venue!”
