Julien enjoyed a trip to the Westwood Lakes complex in Lincolnshire earlier in the season along with family Sammie and Toby, all catching quality Carp, Barbel, Bream during the session! He tells us the Barbel were in excellent condition, catching several to over 8lb.

A whole range of tactics proved successful, either float fishing with Pellet Wagglers on Supplex line to Wide Gape Pellet hooks, or chucking small 25g inline Drennan Flat method feeders baited with pellet or red maggot.
