The biggest of the bunch was this lovely 17lb 15oz specimen, which backed up by further fish of 17lb 9oz and 15lb 9oz! He told us “I caught eight of them on maggots, including all the biggest fish. I got through plenty of them too, feeding 26 pints over four nights! I’d been wanting to try maggots all winter and kept a constant stream of them going through the swim to get the fish feeding. These were introduced at regular intervals through a big feeder.”
