Jon Arthur will be joining Drennan from early March.  After eight years at David Hall Publishing, Jon will be stepping down as Group Editor of Match Fishing and Pole Fishing magazines to pursue a new career in angling.

Peter Drennan said: “We’re so pleased that Jon will be joining us and strengthening our in-house team on multimedia and product development. His very considerable angling expertise and long experience at DHP will stand him in good stead working with both individual anglers and the teams we sponsor.”

Peter went on: “I’m sure Jon will also enjoy the opportunity to be involved in product development and prototype testing. That will be a new dimension for him and in many ways, it’s the best part of our manufacturing business! Jon already has a lot of friends here in our Oxford offices and we’re really looking forward to working with him.”

Jon commented: “I have loved my time working on both magazines and have some great friends at DHP, but I simply could not turn down this exciting opportunity. I have always been a massive fan of Drennan products and I know that there are some amazing developments in the pipeline. The company’s portfolio of sponsored anglers is also impressive and I’m really looking forward to working with them all. Drennan is having a massive push on the match side of things so I’m proud to be part of it!”
