Norfolk angler Joe Campen got amongst some late-summer crucians recently, landing nine over 2lb 12oz, including five ‘threes’, topped by this 4lb 1oz PB.

Visiting a southern stillwater, three hours from Norfolk, Joe fished with his friend on a two-day session. The largest fish came on the second afternoon, and he employed method feeder tactics. He says he knew the fish was a ‘different class’ after he hooked it, and after seeing the size of it, he was shaking by the time it hit the net.
