“Trotted Maggot Produces Monster Chub”
If there’s one river to target chub on the float, it has to be the Dorset Stour. Countless specimens have been reported from there this season, with James Hutton being the most recent to enjoy the quality of fishing on offer.
He banked this 7lb 11oz fish on trotted maggot which was his seventh bite of the day, having already landed a fish of 6lb 12oz, plus a few smaller specimens.
