He had it, alongside three others, over two trips on a Colne Valley gravel pit, where he fished a spicy shrimp and prawn boilie tipped with plastic corn as his hookbait on a helicopter rig. This was cast to a gravel bar that he’d baited liberally with a mixture of halibut pellets, corn and boilies, boosted with oils. The other fish weighed 15lb 2oz, 13lb, and 11lb 11oz, and were caught on the same hookbait but this time presented on a Method feeder.
