After a two week spell of freezing cold weather, E-Sox consultant Steve Rowley took advantage of a rise in temperature by bagging a superb brace of pike weighing 28lb 10oz and 27lb 12oz.

Both fish fell to simple legered sardine dead baits with the first fish coming mid-morning and the second mid afternoon, making it a day to remember. Steve used his trusted 12ft E-Sox Piker Bait Rod, 60lb Piker Braided Reel Line, and trace made up of 7-Strand pike wire and size 4 E-Sox Extra Strong Trebles in semi barbed.
