The ODAA open match was fished by a reduced field of 24 anglers on a very wet and windy day on the Thames at Medley.
Although there were a few dropouts due to the weather, the venue fished very well, despite strong winds and continuous rain.
1st: Tony Hobbs (Drennan Oxford) – 22lb 14oz. Tony drew the top end peg just below Godstow lock and had a great days fishing catching mainly roach at 13m on pole with maggots over groundbait.
2nd: Tom Hobbs (Drennan Oxford) – 22lb 11ox. Tom drew at Sandy point near the bottom end of Medley and also caught roach on the pole at 13m, but on caster over loose fed caster and hemp.
3rd: Darren Scott (Drennan Oxford) – 21llb 1oz. Darren drew in the top section at Medley and come just ounces off second place landing a great net of roach at 11m on the pole.
