Thank-you to Gary Newman for more superb photos from his recent Anglers Mail Angling Adventures feature on the River Test! This fab wintry scene shows Gary playing a Chub on a Drennan Matchpro Medium Feeder rod, as featured in Anglers Mail 11th December.

Drennan’s South-East Sales Representative Mike Davidson took Gary to a private stretch of the exclusive chalk stream, where they’d had success with the Chub in the past. Despite difficult high water conditions, with lots of weed coming down (see photo below) the lads both bagged Chub and Trout, by fishing breadcrumb & cheese in Cage and Gripmesh feeders.

The Drennan Matchpro Medium Feeder is an ideal all-round river feeder rod, and breaks down to two-equal length sections with a tip fitted, so is easily carried made-up.
