Gary Newman with a tremendous 3lb 10oz Crucian using Drennan Inline Method Feeders – taken during a trip with Mike Davidson and recently featured in Anglers Mail magazine!

The lads travelled to Godalming AS water Johnson’s Lake last month, and were joined by Rory Kingerley from Apollo Angling’s on-site shop.

Gary used 1lb test curve rods with 6lb line and 35g Drennan Inline Flat Method Feeders, baited with a groundbait mix of Dynamite Baits Swimstim green plus some 4mm Pallatrax whisker pellets. A piece of Enterprise mini rubber corn was presented hair-rigged to a size 16 Drennan Wide Gape Specialist hook on a 3-inch 4lb Gamma Flurocarbon hooklength.

After a succession of quality roach, the lads landed numerous top quality Crucians – Gary taking fish to a whopping 3lb 10oz and Mike to 3lb 3oz!
