“Gary connected with what he knew right away was a good fish”

During a session with his 10-year-old son, Leo, Gary McMullen banked this 31lb cracker, that Leo slipped the net under! The pair were boat fishing on the Lake of Menteith in a Pike Anglers Alliance event and were float-legering mackerel close to a drop off. After a few early doubles, Gary connected with what he knew right away was a good fish. As it neared the boat, Leo netted the fish like a pro and guessed that it’d weigh over 30lb.
