Plenty of fun and fish were had by all to make the Tight Lines Young Angler Day a roaring success!
Ten lucky winners of Sky Sports’ Tight Lines Young Angler photo competition spent a day in the company of our experts, so it was never in doubt that every single one of them caught plenty of fish!
The fantastic Barston Lakes fishery proved to be the perfect venue with plenty of bites to bring a smile to everyone’s faces. Our experts ranged from five-time World Champion, Alan Scotthorne, to big-carp specialist, Kev Hewitt, so plenty of baits and tactics were put to the test. The results were brimming nets of fish, including skimmers, roach, perch, bream, F1s and some sizeable carp to double-figures!
Sky Sports kindly filmed the event with Tight Lines’ very own Keith Arthur overseeing proceedings. Thanks to everyone involved for making this such a special and thoroughly rewarding day!
