He caught a mixture of roach and skimmers using an XL 35g Drennan Oval Cage Feeder loaded with Alvega groundbait and joker. The best hook bait was one or two maggots on a size 16 Team England Super Carbon Maggot fished on a metre-long hooklength of 0.075mm Supplex.
