Drennan’s Ian Brooker had a very enjoyable session trotting on the Upper Avon just before the season ended.

Using a 14’ Matchpro Float and centrepin loaded with 3.2lb Floatfish, he managed to locate a shoal of large Dace in a far bank slack. Using Polemaster 1.6lb Fluorocarbon Hooklength and a size 20 Red Maggot Hook he managed to catch around 20 all between 8oz & 13oz along with several grayling around the 1lb8oz.
