Ian Taylor and Andy Bailey tied on points after 5 days in the Drennan Autumn Festival at Messingham Sands.
After adding up the weights, both anglers were still very close, each having caught over 500lbs of fish during the course of the week.
The £1,200 first prize went to Ian as he had an advantage of 7lb 8oz over Andy, who walked away with £1,000. Mick Deighton and Chris Mack made up the top four, all receiving Accolyte Rods.
Ian caught all of his fish on pole and paste with the bulk of his weights each day made up of crucians, skimmers and F1s with the occasional bonus carp. While Andy went down the more expected route of fishing 8mm and 10mm hard pellet for an out and out carp approach.
