Drennan Leicester’s Harry Wilkinson put together this super net of fish whilst practicing the Slider Float in deep water on the River Great Ouse.
Harry has endured a frustrating lay off from fishing recently due to a broken ankle – so was especially glad to be back on the bank. With a forthcoming Sensas Challenge match on the River to come, Harry wisely decided to get out and put some practice in.
Employing a Slider float to fish a swim 24 feet deep, he fed a ball of groundbait with every cast using one of our Softfeed Groundbait Catapults. This helped Harry catch some quality Roach and Skimmer Bream, securing his place in the team for the match next weekend!
