Thanks to Bristol’s Dean Goodwill for this photo of a fab old Common of 30lb 6oz from Oxfordshire’s Christchurch lake on the Linch Hill complex – caught using a Double Strength zig rig!
In cold conditions Dean fished a 9ft Double Strength 12lb hooklink in water around 12 ft deep – in order to target fish at around 3 feet down below the surface. With the very difficult conditions so far in 2013, Dean was told this was the first fish to be caught in the lake for 5 weeks – good angling!
