Not only did he bank himself a new pb but also a free season ticket at the same time!

David told us “I had just joined a southern syndicate lake and when I enquired to the bailiff about the bream stocks he told me there were only two known fish and that they’re only seen every few years. However, he also said that if I caught one, he’d give me a free season ticket! So I set out to target one and on my very first session and just before nightfall I saw a big fish roll around 25 yards out. That was convincing enough for me so I baited around 50 squid and octopus boilies to the spot and cast my trusty snowman rig out over the top.

Half an hour later the bobbin dropped slowly and I instantly thought bream! The fight wasn’t spectacular, typical of most bream fights so I just knew I’d hooked what I was after. When it went into the net I was absolutely buzzing – partly because it was a new PB but mostly because I’d just won a free season ticket!
