Darran Goulder won a weekly Drennan award in Angling Times at the start of December for this magnificent River Lea Barbel.

Darran, a previous winner of the cup, banked the 14lb 15oz specimen during mild flood conditions by hair-rigging a single Robin Red pellet on a Super Specialist Sink Braid hooklength.
