We love this photograph, which comes courtesy of Kent Tench maestro Darran Goulder, illustrating his lovingly prepared mountain of groundbait balls, all prepared ready to fire in and get the Tench fizzing! Obviously it is taken in times past as we haven’t had any blue sky like this yet this Spring…
Conditions were good, Darran was in a consistent swim and expecting the fish to be really “having it” – in the foreground you can see his groundbait bombardment weapon of choice, a Drennan Softfeed Groundbait Caty, fitted with the medium latex for range work.
In the background Darran’s pristine hardware consisting of Drennan Distance Tench & Bream rods paired with Shimano 5000 XTEA Baitrunners and sat on Steve Neville alarms.
