Hertfordshire’s Dan Sales has reported a big haul of specimen Bream – capped by this 12lb 8oz sample! Dan has been fishing one of his local syndicate waters this Spring/Summer and during a recent overnight session, got everything right – bagging 35 fish for a huge haul estimated at around 250lb! Dan commented that by 4.30am, having hauled Bream all night, he was absolutely shattered and too tired to carry on…a good effort indeed.
All the fish fell to Dan’s favourite method at the moment – a Drennan 35g Method Feeder with a short hooklink of 10lb Gravel Braid and a size 11 Super Specialist Barbel hook. These were fished on Shimano Hyperloop Barbel rods and Daiwa Regal Z reels loaded with 8lb Supplex mono.
