Dane managed to land this impressive pike from a kayak during a recent session on Pitsford reservoir in Northamptonshire. 

The fish fell to a crank bait fished on a bait caster rod with and reel loaded with 20lb braid.

“I hooked the fish whilst working along the margins, at first I thought I was snagged on something, then the fish made a 50 yard run!”
