Christian Barker has sent us this fine picture of a nice catch of bream & silverfish from a Suffolk Estate lake using float-fishing tactics.

“It was a proper ‘traditional silver fish session – a superb afternoon’s fishing” Christian told us, having caught Roach, Bream, Rudd & Perch.

Christian used a Glow Tip Antenna float and maggot hookbaits flavoured with Laguna Pineapple SAC juice, fished over a bed of groundbait.

“I I decided to re-spool using the new Supplex in 3lb breaking strain. It is a superb waggler line. It handles really well, sinks beautifully and casts smoothly. I’ll have to get some for my summer Chub stalking – it will be awesome!”
