Chris Turnbull has been catching big Perch pretty consistently this Winter in a quest for a 4lber – this one weighed 3lb 4oz from the River Bure.

“I’m particularly pleased with this one, my first Broads 3-pounder” Chris told us. “Except for a jack Pike caught earlier, it was my only bite of a bright afternoon session spent searching the area from a dinghy”.

It was caught from a River Bure Boatyard on a bright green 4-inch Fish-Hunter Shad presented on a 5 gram size 1.0 Jig-head using an E-Sox Spinflex 7ft 1.5lb rod and FD4000 reel.
