Three sections wins in the final round of the Avon Valley Summer League at Witherington Farm Fishery near Salisbury helped Drennan Bordon Aqua wrap up the series in style!

Anthony Flint, Adam Lee and Brettt Cooper all topped their zones towards a 47 point tally, with Shaun Barnett second overall in his with 48lb 8oz, just behind individual winner Graham Tappenden (Homestores Mosella) on 55lb 6oz.

“After a disappointing second round which saw us drop 16 points to the leaders, the team did extremely well to catch up and finish in style to become league champions. Well done to all the teams, and massive thanks to Ian Snook who runs the league,” said Bordon manager Steve Barnett.

Drennan Bordon Aqua’s six round total of 249 points are clear of Bait-Tech Guildford on 220 and Woolmer Angling on 217.
