Thanks to Hinckley’s Ashley Burton for this super picture of a big March Tench – best of a super half a dozen fish all caught on Drennan Artificial Buoyant Maggots.

Ash put together the catch from a midlands stillwater, with six quality Tench all over 4 ¼ lb, with the biggest weighing 7½lb. The majority were outwitted using hair-rigged artificial maggot in conjunction with some live wrigglers, fished with a Groundbait Feeder.

“Needless to say a cracking start to the Tench campaign and no doubt I shall be spending a few more hours on the venue in pursuit of them this Spring” explained Ashley.
